The Monarchs came out in Game Two with “guns a blazing” and defense supremely active. For most of the night, the Silver Stars struggled to get good looks. The Monarchs’ “True Grit” team even played pretty on offense, shooting 58.6% from the field, 6/14 from beyond the arc, and 10/11 from the charity stripe. Those are numbers more commonly associated with San Antonio.
